PDP members defect to APC in Ekiti

16 May 2016, 17:23

Ado Ekiti - Over 5 000 members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Emure-Ekiti, Ekiti State have joined the All Progressives Congress (APC), reports The Nation

The defectors were led by a former Commissioner in the state, Dele Okeya,

Daily Post reports that Okeya, who is an in-law to the former Chief of Staff to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Mike Oghiadomhe, said he had to leave the PDP because the umbrella party has been taken over by those he described as “criminals, crooks, rogues and ragamuffins.
