PDP moves to takeover APC structures

25 January 2016, 17:06

Abuja - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has secretly began subtle moves to take over the structures of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), reports New Telegraph.

The party has launched an infiltration agenda into the APC’s fold.

It was learnt that the defection of prominent PDP leaders into the APC is to hijack the structures of the party ahead of its congresses and convention and 2019 general elections.

After series of strategic meetings by some forces in the PDP, influential party leaders, including serving and former public office holders, have been recruited into the plot.

Apart from the PDP masterminding these massive defections, the other gladiators involved in this plot are power brokers, especially presidential aspirants, who are interested in controlling APC structures.
