PDP rates Oshiomhole low

17 November 2015, 16:04

Benin- City - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State has described the performance of the administration of Governor Adams Oshiomhole in the last seven years as abysmal, reports Punch.

The party said Oshiomhole’s scorecard in governance was a far cry from the huge allocation from the federation account.

In a press briefing at an event organised to access the governor’s seven years in office on Monday, the Edo State Chairman of the PDP, Dan Orbih said the governor had performed woefully.

According to him, contrary to the testimonies of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its supporters, the governor had failed to live up to the aspirations of the people in different sectors.

He berated the governor for squandering scarce resources on fathom security challenges, rather than channelling such funds into road construction and the revitalisation of ailing industries.

He urged the government to return the allegedly siphoned funds to the state’s coffers.
