Kaduna - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State has begun moves towards rebuilding the party in order to win back the state in 2019 after losing out in the 2015 general elections, reports Daily Trust.
Party stakeholders in the state met on Thursday at the Arewa Hall in Kaduna.
Many of the major stakeholders, including former Vice President Namadi Sambo, former Governor Muktar Ramalan Yero and Senator Danjuma Laah who was billed to chair the occasion, however did not attend the meeting.

Those that attended the meeting include National Organising Secretary of the PDP, Mustafa Abubakar; Senator Muktar Aruwa and the state chairman of the PDP, AJ Haruna
Aruwa, who was the Chairman of the event, said the performance of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the national and state levels has given them hope that the people would embrace the PDP in 2019.
