Katsina - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Katsina State has rejected the result of last Saturday’s Jibia constituency by-election, which was won by the All Progressives Congress (APC), reports Daily Trust.
The party said the result did not reflect the actual number of voters that voted in the election.

The party’s Publicity Secretary, Salisu Sukuntuni said the party found as contradictory the massive votes said to have been scored by the APC candidate in a low turnout election.
He said the party will decide the next line of action after critically examining the outcome of the poll .
The APC’s candidate Mustapha Yusuf was declared winner with 13 610 votes to defeat the PDP candidate Mi’ita Abba who polled 5 225 votes.
