Ilorin - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Saturday announced the suspension six of its prominent members in Kwara State.

The suspension order is contained in a statement issued in Ilorin, made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), and jointly signed by the state Chairman of the party, Akogun Iyiola-Oyedepo and Secretary, Barrister Yusuf.

It gave the names of the suspended members as Prince Sunday Fagbemi, Kunle Suleiman, Alhaji Hassan Stands-Zorro, Capt. Isiaka Also (rtd), Alhaji Illyasu Ibrahim and Jide Usman-Alabi.

The statement said the members, who were presently standing trial before a Magistrate Court in Ilorin, were suspended for unruly conduct.

The statement read; “the six of them masterminded the unlawful and wilful breaking into the PDP Secretariat on Monday, 31st day of October. 2016.

“They were accordingly reported to the police at the Kwara State Police Command, Ilorin.
