Abuja - The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has revealed that it will not provide sureties in Olisa Metuh's bail application, indicating that the party may have abandoned its spokesperson, Naij reports.
Metuh, who is facing charges for allegedly collecting funds from former National Security Adviser Sambo Dasuki, was granted bail in the sum of N600 million on Friday for tearing up his statement to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Metuh also requires two sureties in like sum in order to meet his bail conditions.
The Deputy National Secretary of the PDP, Alhaji Abdullahi Jalo, however, stated on Friday that the party would not be providing sureties for Metuh since he was being prosecuted for crimes not relating to the party.
