Lagos - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos has vowed to give the All Progressives Congress (APC) a run for its money in the 2019 governorship election in the state, reports NewsDay.
The party said it was prepared to wrestle power from the ruling APC in the state in 2019.
Chairman of the party in the state, Tunji Shelle, noted that the party has a good chance of winning Lagos State in 2019.
The party has never won Lagos State since the country returned to democratic rule in 1999.

Shelle promised that the party would make the desired changes in the lives of the people of state if voted into power in 2019.
Shelle, who spoke during a stakeholders’ meeting of the party held at the party’s secretariat in Ikeja on Wednesday appealed to aggrieved members of the party to forget the past and work in the interest of the party and state.
He said he was ready to embrace any aggrieved member because he had no grudge against anybody.
The meeting was attended by Dipo Olounrinu, a member of the House of Assembly, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, Remi Adikwu-Bakare and other party chieftains and leaders.
