PDP will continue to cry - APC
01 December 2016, 07:25
Abuja - The All Progressives Congress, APC on Wednesday advised senators elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to cross over to its camp.
The PDP caucus in the Senate had during Wednesday’s plenary protested the defection of the lawmaker representing Ondo South Senatorial district, Yele Omogunwa, to the APC calling on the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, to declare his seat vacant.
But in a post on its Twitter handle: @APCNigeria, the ruling party said the main opposition party in the country will “continue to cry more”.
“We are calling on other PDP senators to join us in the APC,” it wrote.
