Abuja - The Youth wing of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has kicked against the four special committees set up by the National Chairman of the party, Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff, ahead of the party’s National Convention scheduled for May 21, 2016.
Sheriff had named Rivers governor Nyesom Wike as chairman, Gov. Dairus Ishiaku of Taraba as deputy chairman and Gov. Dave Umahi of Ebonyi as secretary of the convention.
Other committees set up included the Reconciliation Committee to be chaired by the Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson.
Senator Ibrahim Mantu is to serve as deputy chairman of the Reconciliation committee.

The Finance Committee has Gombe State Governor, Ibrahim Dankwambo as chairman, while Senator Godswill Akpabio will serve as deputy.
The party similarly set up a Zoning Committee, to be chaired by the Akwa- Ibom State Governor, Emmanuel Udom with Kelechi Igwe as secretary.
But, the PDP youths said the lists do not include them.
The youths under the aegis of Concerned PDP Youths (CPY) argued that the lists without substantial inclusion of the youths is unacceptable and injurious to the rebuilding of the party.
They noted that the latest action of the leadership of the party has violated the basic democratic principles of youth integration and inclusion in the party.
