24 June 2016, 18:00

Abuja - There are indications that the presidency has decided to wade into the crisis rocking the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, reports New Telegraph.

Fresh crisis erupted in the party in the state following Saturday’s governorship primary in the state.

The primary election, which was won by Godwin Obaseki is being challenged by two of the aspirants that participated in the primaries.

The aspirants, Christopher Ogiemwonyi and Kenneth Imansuagbon are challenging the result of the primaries.

While Ogiemwonyi alleged over-voting, Imansuagbon alleges electronic rigging during the exercise

It was gathered that the Presidency has directed the Secretary of the Government of the Federation (SGF) Babachir Lawal to meet with all the aspirants within 24 hours to resolve the problem.
