Port Harcourt - Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Ikwuinyi-Owaji Ibani has stepped aside, reports Vanguard
Owaji-Ibani said he resigned on personal ground.
He resigned shortly after Governor Nyesom Wike presented the 2016 appropriation bill of N307 billion to the House on Friday.

In his place, Hon Adams Dabotorudima from Okrika was elected new Speaker of the House.
Ibani was amongst the state legislators whose elections were nullified by the Election Petition Tribunal.
