Saraki alleged to be reaching out to Buhari, Tinubu

14 February 2016, 15:07

Abuja - It has been alleged that Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has been trying to reach out to President Muhammadu Buhari and the National Leader of the All Progressive Congress, Bola Tinubu over the matter concerning the Code of Conduct Tribunal, Pulse reported.

According to reports by Punch, ever since the Supreme Court ruled the Saraki's trial should continue at the CCT, he has wanted to seek favours from the President and Tinubu.

The reaching out is alleged to be a desperate move to reach a favourable agreement with top political figures in the country.

Though Saraki is alleged to have sent a delegation to Vice President, Yemi Osinbanjo while Buhari was away on vacation, the visit is claimed to be part of reaching out to the president.

He has also tried to reach Tinubu by sending emissaries but reports have stated that he has cut all ties with the Kwara State Ex-Governor.
