Abuja - Despite opposition to the zoning of the chairmanship position of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the North-east, the National Chairman, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff on Sunday met with state chairmen and ex-officio of the party, otherwise known as G-84.
The G-84 is one of the powerful groups in the party.
Sheriff’s meeting with the group comes in the face of disagreements over the zoning of the National Chairmanship position to the North, which is perceived to be in his favour.
