Abuja - Factional Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ali Modu Sheriff on Wednesday boycotted a meeting of the party’s national caucus, reports Thisday.
The meeting was called to brief members on the outcome of the peace moves initiated by leaders of the party to reconcile the warring factions in the party.
The meting, which was held at Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Center, Abuja, was, however, attended by the party’s National Caretaker Committee Chairman, Ahmed Makarfi.

The meeting was also attended with the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu; the Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT), Senator Walid Jubrin; Principal Officers of the National Assembly and governors of Ondo, Taraba, Bayelsa and Gombe States
No reason was given for Sheriff’s absence at the meeting.
