Supreme court upholds Ortom's election

15 January 2016, 14:03

Abuja - The Supreme Court has upheld the election of Samuel Ortom of the All Progressives Congress as the Governor of Benue State, Naij reports.

In upholding the election, the court dismissed the appeal of the Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate, Terhemen Tarzoor, in which he claimed that Ortom emerged as the governorship candidate of the APC without being registered as a member of the party.
