15 September 2016, 14:17

Akure -  There is palpable tension in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State following an alleged plan to tamper with the result of the primary election, which produced Rotimi Akeredolu as winner, reports Thisday.

The plot is being hatched by some leaders of the party at both the state and national levels.

The plot is to undermine the result of the ballot.

Already, Chairman of the Appeal Panel set up to look into the complaints that attended the exercise, Hellen Benbager was said to have been smuggled into Lagos State by some powerful forces ahead of the submission of the panel’s report.

News 24 had reported that the report of the Appeal Committee is ready

Benbager is allegedly being offered inducements to influence the report.

Other stakeholders in the party have, however, resolved to defend the exercise .

They have vowed to go to any length to make sure that the result produced by it is protected.
