Thousands of PDP members decamp to APC in Ondo

Akure - There is disquiet within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State as some of its top financiers decamped to the All Progressives Congress (APC), reports Daily Post

The PDP leaders led thousands of their followers to join the APC.

The top financiers are: Prince Jimi Odimayo, former local government chairman; Hon. Shedrach Olowojuni; Hon. Bayo Adekanle, former PDP House of Representatives aspirant; Moyebi Orimisan; Ladese Agboola; Hon. Damilola Oripinye; Akindele Olowokandi;  Luwoye and Chief Akingboju.

They were received into the APC by Engr. Ade Adetimehin who is the state deputy chairman, state publicity secretary, Omo’ba Abayomi Adesanya and the assistant state welfare officer,  Tunji Fabiyi.

Odimayo said they were tired of a party that could not stand by its words politically.

Responding, APC deputy chairman, Adetimehin described the defection as mass movement of the masses from a crumbled party to a party generally believed to have the love of the masses in its heart.
