Lokoja - The office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State was on Friday set ablaze by persons believed to be political thugs, reports The Nation.
The incident is coming just about 24 hours to the conduct of the governorship supplementary election in the state.
21 out of the 91 polling units where the election would be held are in Dekina.

According to eyewitnesses, the thugs invaded the office at about 05:00am and set it on fire in anger.
It was not immediately clear if the voting materials that would be used in Saturday’s poll were in the office.
