Two ex-Mimiko commissioners pick guber forms from Sheriff’s camp

Abuja - Two former commissioners in Ondo State, Sola Ebiseni and Bamiduro Dada, who served under Governor Olusegun Mimiko, on Tuesday picked their governorship nomination form ahead of the November 26, election, reports Daily Post.

Ebiseni and Dada, who were once in charge of Environment and Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs ministries obtained their forms from the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) camp of Senator Ali Modu Sheriff.

The duo with their supporters were received by the factional state PDP Chairman, Biyi Poroye and other executive members at their Secretariat in Akure, the state capital.

This has brought to three, the number of governorship aspirants that have obtained nominations form from the Sheriff faction.

Businessman, Jimoh Ibrahim was the first aspirant to pick nomination form from Sheriff camp according to News 24.

Ibrahim berated the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for recognising the Caretaker Committee Chairman of the party, Senator Ahmed Makarfi.
