Yenagoa - Two persons were on Monday injured in Kokorosei Community of Southern Ijaw Local Government of Bayelsa State following a bloody clash between supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), reports Leadership.
The clash occurred over the disputed Court of Appeal ruling annulling the election of the state House of Assembly Speaker, Hon. Kombowei Benson.

The injured persons, who were identified as APC supporters, were reportedly attacked with machete by alleged PDP supporters for celebrating annulment of the Speaker’s election and his decision to step down as Speaker of the House.
The victims of the attack have been moved to the Federal Medical Centre in Yenagoa for adequate medical treatment.
