WATCH: Fayose, Aluko reconcile

04 April 2016, 13:44

Ado Ekiti - Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State and his estranged ally and former secretary of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, Dr. Temitope Aluko have reconciled.

Both met in Ado Ekiti on Sunday to resolve the lingering crisis between them.

Aluko had in January spill  the secrets of how the 2014 governorship election was manipulated with money and soldiers in favour of Fayose

The duo addresses journalists after settling their differences.

Aluko, who blamed the crisis on interference and insinuations from some quarters, said the processes leading to renewed peace between him and the governor was being achieved without any string or condition attached to it.

Fayose said Aluko is his son and that whatever happened in the past is now history.
