Port Harcourt - Gov. Nyesom Wike of Rivers State on Monday suspended the Caretaker Committee Chairmen of three local governments in the state.
The suspended Chairmen are those of Abua/Odual, Ahoada East and Ahoada West Local Government Areas.

The governor announced the suspension at a special Security Town Hall meeting in Omoku
He said the Chairmen were suspended for failing to mobilize stakeholders to attend the meeting.
He said insecurity in the four local governments had nothing to do with politics.
