Wike urges Sheriff to apologize to PDP

Port Harcourt - Gov  Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has urged the Factional Chairman of the Peoples Democartic Party, Ali Modu Sheriff to apologise to the party, reports Daily Post.

Wike said Sheriff has proved his numerous critics right that he was out to destroy the PDP.

Speaking through his media aide, Simeon Nwakaudul, the state governor maintained that no single individual can destroy the party

Wike according to Thisday alleged that Sheriff made desperate move against the party’s national convention when he realised that he was not qualified to contest for the office of national Chairman of the party.

He said Sheriff made a u-turn on the national convention when he got information that he was not qualified to contest the election on Saturday.

Wike who served as Chairman of the 2016 National Convention Planning Committee said that the main associates of the former Acting National Chairman are men of questionable character
