Youth endorse Bello's electionas Kogi governor

04 January 2016, 21:34

Abuja - The Kogi Youth for Good Governance has pledged its support to the Governor-elect, Yahaya Bello.

Spokesman of the group, Ayodele Ojulewa, said the non-governmental organisation was confident in Bello’s capacity to bring development and unity to the state.

“We believe that the elected Governor will build a Kogi State where there is equity, justice and fair play.”

“We are calling all Kogites to join hands with the incoming Government of All Progressives Congress for the betterment of Kogi State,” Ojulewa added.

Ojulewa urged all Kogites to support the incoming government of the All Progressives Congress in defining for them the kind of future that they wanted.

“It is only when all Kogites agreed on the above listed solutions that Kogi can unite towards recreating the Kogi of our collective dreams and make it come through. We therefore call on Kogites to let us continue to work together and pray for Peace and stability in Kogi State.”

Bello has been declared the winner of the Kogo governorship poll ahead of incumbent Idris Wada of the People’s Democratic Party.
