Gusau - The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Zamfara State, Senator Hassan Muhammad Nasiha has been suspended from office.
He was suspended for two months.
He was suspended over alleged 7 anti party-related cases that led to the failure of the party to win the 2015 general elections in the state.

Zonal Vice Chairman, Ibrahim Maikano, who announced Nasiha’s suspension said all the 44 members of the State Executive Council (SEC)met and voted two-third in support of the decision to suspend the embattled chairman based on the provision 21(1) of the party’s constitution.
Kado Yahaya Gusau was subsequently appointed Acting Chairman.
