Abuja - The Edo State Information Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) received a major boost after a technology firm donated a set of computers.
Xerox Nigeria District Sales Manager, Akara Kenneth presented the computers during a courtesy visit to the Secretary to the State Government, Prof Julius Ihonvbere, in Benin City.
He said the pledge of donating the computers was made following the company’s senior management’s courtesy visit to the government agency as part of its own contribution to the technological transformation of the state.
Receiving the computers on behalf of the ICTA, the Permanent Secretary, Thomas U. Okoudoh, thanked Xerox for the donation. He said Xerox Nigeria had shown a great commitment towards the technological advancement of the state and the nation at large.
Some members of the management staff ofEdo State Information Communication Technology Agency amongst whom are Director of Software, Research and Development, Infrastructure, Project Management, Verification, Admin and Staff and Pensioners Payroll, and staff of Xerox Nigeria Limited, Chika Nnodua was present at the presentation.
