Glo earmarks millions for promo

Lagos - Globacom, the indigenous telecommunications company, has set aside N200 million to reward its customers through the 'text4million' promo.

The company has announced the fourth season of the promotion ahead of the festive season.

The company said it would give out N50 000 each to 10 winners daily, N5 million weekly to a lucky subscriber and a grand prize of 15 million at the end of the promo.

Speaking about the promotion, Adeniyi Olukoya, Globacom’s Marketing Coordinator, said that Glo had a history of rewarding its subscribers with cash prizes and celebrating them.

“In this promo, we hope to touch the lives of our subscribers and get our target base excited and empowered as over N200 million in cash prizes will be won by subscribers announced the fourth season of its aimed at rewarding its loyal customers with over N200million,” Olukoya said.

Olukoya explained that the promo is targeted at current prepaid subscribers on the Glo network as well as those on other networks who are free to port into the Glo network and “unlock their riches” on the network that rewards.

To participate in the promo, subscribers are required to send “WIN” to the short code 555 and accumulate points in order to qualify for the daily, weekly and final draws where they stand to win fantastic, life changing prizes running into millions of naira.

“Every SMS could be a winner of N50,000 in the daily draws while accumulated points will give subscribers a chance of winning the N5 million weekly prize or the grand prize of N15 million,” said Olukoya.
