Lagos - HMS InfoTech, the Indian firm, has launched an application that aims to enhance the efficient management of the country’s hospitality industry.
The Asian company launched the offering in partnership with PN Consulting, the local company.
The application called Hotelogix Property Management solution hopes to assist practitioners in the hospitality industry to efficiently run their hotels.
Peter Iwegbu, Managing Partner of PN Consulting, said that the key interest of the application was its flexibility and adaptability to all sizes of hotels.
Speaking on the partnership with HMS InfoTech, Iwegbu said such solution was needed in the Nigeria hospitality industry to bring them up to the next level on the use application to run their activities.
“We feel there exists a technology gap in the hospitality sector in Nigeria and it is a welcome development for us to partner and extend the cloud-based Hotel and Property Management
Solution to the small and mid-sized hospitality sector in Nigeria,” he said.
Iwegbu stated that Hotelogix provided a robust and standard solution to the small and medium sized hospitality sector in Nigeria and great return on investments to the potential users of the solution.
He also said that the solution, which he said was easy to use, managed all critical operations of a hotel through a single platform, with good control and management.
He pointed out that the major reasons why his company opted to introduce Hotelogix into Nigeria was that the solution was cloud-based and thus secure.
It was adaptable to any hotel size and could be accessible from anywhere across the globe, he said.
