Lagos set for Power Nigeria event

30 September 2013, 12:01

Abuja - The Power Nigeria event is set to become the showcase event for the African energy sector when it opens in Lagos on 2 October.

The event aims to bring together international organisations offering products, services and solutions to the booming regional energy sector.

The event will be hosted at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos between 2 October and 4 October.

Event organisers said Power Nigeria will serve as a platform for exhibitors to showcase advancements they made in the power generation, transmission and distribution, lighting, renewable and nuclear energy and water sectors.

The event will aso include free-to-attend seminars hosted by industry leaders.

“The free-to-attend technical seminars will give visitors an opportunity to hear expert presentations about the energy sector, while the Power Nigeria exhibition is the best place to see the latest technology and intelligent energy solutions the industry has to offer,” said Anita Mathews, the director of Informa Energy Group, the organisers of Power Nigeria.

Power Nigeria is supported by the federal ministry of power, the Nigerian Association for Energy Economics, Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission and the Foundation for the Development of Africa.
