Abuja - The Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) has announced that it is offering 3.5GHz band slots for sale in 28 states across the country.
According to NCC Executive Vice Chairman, Dr Eugene Juwah, the frequency slots would be licensed on state to state basis.
However, the licence sales would not be held in Lagos, Delta, Rivers, Abia, Anambra, Enugu, Ebonyi and Imo States.
The NCC executive said the proposed sale of the 3.5GHz band was in compliance with the Nigeria Communications Act (NCA) of 2003.
Interested companies are expected to submit their applications for the offer before April 21.
