Abuja - The much-anticipated BlackBerry Q10 smartphone is now available in Nigeria.
BlackBerry Regional Manager, Alexandra Zagury, who is confident the phone will be a success in the country, confirmed availability.
The four Nigerian mobile network operators - MTN, Airtel, Etisalat and Glo - are all offering the smartphone, which comes hot on the heels of the Z10.
“The BlackBerry® Q10 looks set to perform strongly.
"Built with precision and offering premium performance in a timeless design, the BlackBerry Q10 smartphone combines BlackBerry’s best physical keyboard and a touch screen with the power of the BlackBerry 10 platform to help customers communicate and collaborate faster and more efficiently," Zagury said in an interview with CAJ News.
The BlackBerry Q10 boasts a longer battery life and the manufacturer's iconic keyboard.
Running the latest BlackBerry 10 operating system, the Q10 and Z10 are directly competing with Samsung’s newly launched Galaxy S4 and Apple's iPhone 5.
