Slot expands Lagos operations

09 December 2013, 15:06Augustine Osayande

Lagos - Slot System, the country’s biggest phone retail company, has expanded the number of its outlets in Lagos.

The company said the move to expand its shop to other locations in the state was to help ease the challenge of customers traveling long distances to buy their favourite phone brands.

With the opening of its newest shop in Ikorodu area at the weekend, the company said the number of its outlets in Lagos alone, now stands at 13.

Speaking at the unveiling of the new outlet, Managing Director of Slot System Limited, Nnamdi Ezeigbo said that expanding the shops was the company's effort to ensure customers’ convenience.

“We understand the challenge of driving from one city to another in order to buy phone and accessories and that’s why we are bringing our services to the doorsteps of our customers. Presently, we have 13 outlets in Lagos and we hope to have more in the coming year,” he said.

He added that the company has also opened an online platform to ensure that it target of reaching more customers was realized.

“We have also unveiled our online store trading. So, whatever you can do in our normal store, you can also do on our online store. What one needs to do is to send us a mail and one gets an immediate reply that will give one a guide on how to go about the purchase. One can also do a delivery-based purchase, which means one can order for goods and pay on delivery,” he added.

Ezeigbo also noted that the company had put in place strategies that would ensure that quality and genuine products are put in place to protect customers’ interest.

“We have gone far to get All Tests Pass approval. So, for any phone you see in our store, they all have five approvals, and that makes it genuine and standard enough. Our products also match quality because we are selling them to our own people, which are the Nigerian people,” he said.
