Abuja - A mobile service aimed at closing the career gender gap in Africa has been launched by the Nigerian Ministry of Communication and Technology.
The service called the Smart Woman Project gives women the opportunity to become more effective in their chosen careers, according to Techmoran.
To be part of this initiative, one has to download the SmartWoman mobile app, which will give the user access to articles from expert writers, job skills trainings, job openings and networking with other women.
The initiative was launched in partnership with ChangeCorp, a US based social enterprise, and the Nigerian non-profit organisation WIMBIZ (Women in Business).
