Speakers lineup confirmed for NigeriaCom

Abuja - Organisers of the NigeriaCom, one of the region’s biggest information technology summits, hope to build on the country’s newly-attained status as the continent’s biggest economy to ensure a successful event.

NigeriaCom is scheduled for Lagos Oriental Hotel on September 16-17.

“The Nigerian telecoms market is the fastest growing in the world, complementing the fact that Nigeria has become Africa’s largest economy in Gross Domestic Product terms. This is the compelling business case to make sure stakeholders are present at NigeriaCom 2014,” organisers stated.

The two-day conference will pay significant attention to the National Broadband Plan roll out, new business strategies for network operators amid the infrastructure challenges and a migration to data.

In addition, mobile money challenges will be tackled by high level speakers from the Central Bank and financial institutions.

Long Term Evolution/4G technologies will be showcased during the exhibition.

“The CIO Forum which is a must attend stream for all CIOs, Heads of technology and ICT leaders at enterprises and corporations in Nigeria.

This forum will help you transform your business into an efficient digital enterprises, learning how to manage across mobile, social, big data and cloud,” organizers stated.

Also featured within the exhibition is the Affordable Tech Hub, a new experiential showcase of the most innovative and affordable wireless technologies changing the market and improving the customer experience.

Handset, software and device manufacturers will feature their products.

A number of speakers have been confirmed for the event.

Among them are officials from Microsoft, MTN Nigeria, iROKO Partners, Smile Communications, Etisalat, Standard Chartered and Central Bank of Nigeria.
