Taiwan tech firm expands local presence

Abuja - A major Taiwanese notebook vendor and global motherboards maker has expanded its operations in Nigeria.

Asus has entered into a partnership with local information technology firm Coscharis to expand the distribution of its products in the country.

The company said that the partnership with Coscharis would open the door for more possibilities and accessibility of Asus products for Nigerians.

The company added that the partnership wass expected to help increase its market share in the country.

The Country Product Manager, Asus Nigeria, Simplice Zaongo, in a statement, said the partnership with a reliable indigenous company like Coscharis Technologies was in line with Asus’ business strategy, which is to increase channels and make its products accessible to more Nigerians.

He said that Asus laptops come with two years international warranty and Coscharis will also support all Asus products with warranty if purchased from authorized partners in Nigeria.

The Managing Director of Coscharis, Sunday Mukoro, said the partnership with Asus was a reflection of the trust with his company has earned.

“Many partners have expressed confidence in us because we are a dependable distributor and a choice of partners in this region. The involvement of Coscharis is to deliver service and make available the wide range of Asus products,” he said.
