13 July 2015, 08:00

Abuja - Suleiman Abdullahi opened the scoring for Viking in their 4-1 home win against Aalesund in the Norway Eliteserien on Saturday.

The former Flying Eagles striker set up Viking on their way to victory when he scored the first goal in the 4th minute to maintain their charge for the league title.

A brace from Jon Dadi Boedvarsson in the 29th and 41st minute respectively increased the scoreline to 3-0 at the break.

The first of Dadi's goal was created by former Kwara United forward Samuel Adegbenro who was a menace to the visitors with his dashing runs from the flank.

While his second goal came from a well laid pass to his path by Abdullahi.

Aalesund reduced the deficit through Mostafa Abdellaoue one minute after the hour mark.

Four minutes later Indriði Sigurðsson scored to seal the convincing win at the Viking Stadium.

Akeem Latifu and Leke James were in action for the visitors.
