Abiola Dauda Off The Mark For Vitesse Arnhem

15 August 2015, 16:01

Arnhem - Vitesse Arnhem Nigeria forward Abiola Dauda scored his first goal of the Dutch Eredivisie in his team first game of the season, leading them to a 3-0 win over Roda JC.

The 27-year-old Nigerian scored his teams second goal of the game, after Lewis Baker had given them an early lead via the penalty spot.

His goal helped end a barren run of 6 times without a goal which stretches back to his last goal for the modest Dutch side, which was scored on the 29th of November 2014 against Go Ahead Eagles in a 2-2 draw.

Nathan rounded up the goal scoring for Vitesse, who had Dauda on for the entire duration of the game.

Dauda joined Vitesse from Partizan Belgrade of Serbia  last season scoring six times from the 16 games he played, bringing his goal tally to 17 after scoring 11 for Partizan Belgrade before his move to Holland.
