Lagos - Super Eagles stand-in skipper Ahmed Musa did not
take part in Thursday morning's training session with CSKA Moscow ahead of
their Premier League clash with Zenit St Petersburg.
At this moment, the attacker has not yet returned to the
Russian capital after representing the national team in the African Cup of
Nations qualifier against Tanzania and the friendly with Niger Republic two
But it is believed that Musa will arrive in Moscow before
Saturday's game at the Arena Khimki and could feature in his eighth game on the
spin since the start of the 2015-16 season.

Across all competitions, the pacy forward has racked up 988
minutes of game time for the Muscovites in 11 matches, scoring six goals, half
of them coming in the UEFA Champions League.
CSKA Moscow will further extend their record for the most
consecutive wins at the start of the league to eight matches if they beat the
Ahmed Musa last scored against Zenit on March 3, 2012 on his
Premier League debut after arriving from the club from VVV Venlo in Holland.For
