Cairo - Egyptian giants, Al Ahly, have officially announced the signing of Nigerian striker, Peter Ebimobowei, from Bayelsa United, SuperSport reports.
The Red Devils confirmed that they have snapped up the striker for the transfer fee of $100,000 (around N19 million). The contract will run for three and a half years, according to Al Ahly.
The Egyptian champions confirmed the signing on Wednesday evening after receiving clearance to proceed with hooking the player after having agreed personal terms with Ebimobowei last week when the player was in Cairo for talks.

"Al Ahly have formally contracted Nigerian Peter Ebimobowei for three and a half years beginning from this month for $100,000," the club announced on their official website.
Ebimobowei will now be registered by Al Ahly for the Caf Champions League and Egyptian Premier League, according to the club's football director, Alaa Abdel Sadek.
