28 June 2015, 15:11Soccer Laduma

Lagos - 48 hours after being declared missing by his Glo NPFL side Nasarawa United, Aliyu Abubakar has been sighted in Tunisia where he is close to joining CA Bizertin.

Aliyu was seen in pictures posted by the team on their website during training and reports in Tunisia says he is close to agreeing a switch to CA Bizertin.

He was reportedly close to joining Anderlecht in Belgium after the CHAN championship in South Africa but, the move broke down due to disagreement over the terms of his transfer.

The CHAN bronze medalist went on loan to Nigeria league champions Kano Pillars, before the start of this season but went missing a few months ago forcing his parent owners to raise alarm of his whereabouts.

Chairman of Nassarawa United Isaac Danladi warned clubs willing to sign the speedy forward to be wary of fraudsters, who might lay claim to the striker as he is still a bonafide player of the Lafia based team.
