Allen has said that home-based Super Eagles would perform creditably at the
Africa Nations Championship (CHAN).
The competition will hold from January 11 to February 1 in
Allen told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in
Lagos that the country had gifted players that could bring the trophy.
“With the quality of players we have at our disposal, I am
so confident that the players will perform creditably at the tournament. Their
preparation for the competition so far is in order”.
“The players’ level of dedication will also be an added
advantage for the team,’’ Allen said.
He noted that if the 2013/2014 Globacom League season had
begun in December, it would have been an added advantage for the players.
“If the 2013/2014 league had commenced last year, it would
have helped our players to attain better match fitness,’’ he said.
