Lagos - Super Eagles defender Efe Ambrose has pledged to
give his best to ensure Nigeria do well at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
Ambrose was in action for the duration of Nigeria's defeat
of Ethiopia with a score of 2-0 that sealed their place in Brazil.
The Celtic defender now sees Nigeria as a force to reckon
with, having won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year as well.
The former Kaduna United player said his major target is to
ensure Nigeria put up a five-star performance at the World Cup as he believes
the team can play even better football than at present.
Ambrose is expected to be in the starting line-up when
Nigeria take on Italy in an international friendly on Monday night in London.
