Lagos - Former Super Eagles assistant coach Daniel Amokachi
has no doubt in the abilities of Olympiakos attacker Brown Ideye and reckons
that it is only a matter of time before he is recalled to the Super Eagles.
The former Everton striker has pointed out that Ideye is a
classic case of a team player, adding that he is not bothered about individual
glory but the success of the team.

''I always believed in Ideye, I consider him a very good
player and he will soon help the Nigerian National Team with his abilities,''
Daniel Amokachi told gazzetta.gr.
''Ideye primarily looks at the interests of the team. He never looks at the individual statistics.
He offers speed and is an instinct scorer.
For me the most important is that he does not ever give
Olympiakos shelled out six million euros to sign Ideye from
West Brom in the summer transfer market, and Amokachi has tipped his former
pupil to be a big hit in the Super League despite struggling in England.
''Olympiakos made a very good choice and he will succeed. I'm
very happy for him. It is not easy to
play in the Premier League, however he did not fare badly.''
Ideye was voted the Player of the Week in the Greek Super
League on the heels of his performance against AEK Athens, in which he scored a
goal and created an assist for another.For
