Abuja - Enyimba coach, Imama Amapakabo has raised an alarm over the eventual champions of the 2012/13 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), Supersport reports.
Imama’s declarations are coming on the heels of the appeals committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) ruling that the botched match day 31 clash between Enyimba and champions, Kano Pillars be replayed in Lokoja on October 8.
“We know why the game (between both clubs) was abandoned in the first place and asking us to replay the game; first in Lagos and now in Lokoja raises more questions than answers. I am not sure this is in the best interest of the growth of Nigerian football,” he said to supersport.com.
