Abuja - Nasarawa United midfielder Anyu Ishaya is a happy man after
netting a brace against relegation-threatened Bayelsa United.
The Solid Miners defeated the Restoration Boys 2-1 in a week 33 Nigeria
Professional Football League tie at the Oghara Township Stadium on Sunday.
“I’m happy that we are in the top-six of the Nigeria Professional Football
League table. That's the reward for team work and focus,” said the midfielder
“We are capable of picking at least a continental ticket if we continue to
step-up the plate.

The box-to-box playmaker was the best player on the pitch in a match the Solid
Miners deserved to win.
“It is all God's glory, hard work and the support from the Club,” said Anyu.
“I'm happy that I scored two goals in Oghara, but I wouldn't be able to score
without the support of my teammates. We play as a team, support each and make
each other look good.”
