Seattle - Major League Soccer outfit Seattle Sounders have
confirmed the signing of Nigeria international Onyekachi Apam, without him
having to undergo any trials.

is still awaiting his P-1 Visa and International Transfer Clearance papers.
Sounders sporting director Chris Henderson confirmed the
news, telling This Day: "Onyekachi brings vast experience from French
Ligue 1 and the Nigerian national team.
"He is a versatile defender who can play central or
wide and has the ability to start our attack from the back as well."Apam takes with him a wealth of European
experience, having played for Rennes and Nice in France's Ligue 1, while he was
also part of the Super Eagles set up at Under-20 and Under-23 levels, before
