The Welshman scored the opener in that game, but had been rated doubtful for Madrid's trip across the Spanish capital to Vallecas by coach Carlo Ancelotti on Tuesday.
However, Bale has been included in Real's 20-man squad.
It is the first time since early October that Ancelotti will therefore have all of Isco, James Rodriguez, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Bale available for selection.
