Abuja - Players of Bayelsa United have gone on strike over unpaid signing-on fees for last season as well as this current season.
A player with the club, who asked not to be named, said the club negotiated to pay signing-on fees instead of enhanced salaries, but have not kept to their word, SuperSport reports.
He said their action became necessary as an earlier promise to pay the money in June was not kept.
