Nairobu - Bayelsa United, the local representatives in the CAF Confederations Cup is set to battle out with Zimbabwean surprise package How Mine following the two teams’ progression to the next round of the tournament.
The first leg is scheduled for Luveve Stadium in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe’s second-largest city, on March 22.
Bayelsa United scrapped through to the second round courtesy of a 2-0 aggregate against Congo's AS Kondzo while How Mine massacred St. Michel United 6-4 of Seychelles on aggregate in order to progress to the second round as well.
How Mine had earlier on thrashed St. Michel United 5-1 in the first round first leg in Bulawayo before losing 1-3 in the second leg of the first round in Seychelles on Saturday.
The match resumes the rivalry that exists between local and Zimbabwean football sides.
Most recently, Nigeria controversially defeated Zimbabwe in the third-place playoff at the 2014 Orange African Nations Championship (CHAN) in South Africa.
